The law firm of the Bronfman family employed Louis Mortimer Bloomfield, until his CIA ties were
exposed by Charles de Gaulle after a failed assassination attempt. He was also the primary
shareholder of the Canadian company Permindex.
As New Orleans District Attorney Jim Garrison demonstrated in his book On the Trail of the
Assassins (1991), Kennedy’s murder was arranged by a complex assassination network that brought
into play Southern secret intelligence assets in Louisiana, and Texas, Wall Street financiers,
and a strange assassination bureau based in Montreal named Permindex under the leadership of
Maj. Gen. Louis Mortimer Bloomfield.
After the Warren Commission (apparently consisting exclusively of people who hated Kennedy)
"confirmed" that a simple, poor "lone gunman" killed Kennedy, Garrison's investigation into
counter-claims was mysteriously cut short:
Garrison had other evidence linking Ferrie et al. to the Kennedy murder. In February 1964, a
Winnipeg businessman overheard a conversation between a man (whom he later identified "100
percent positive" David Ferrie) and another man (tentatively identified as Major Louis
Bloomfield) in the Winnipeg International Airport: The topic of the conversation was the
successful completion of the assassination plot against Kennedy. The businessman reported the
conversation to the FBI, who several months later told him he should forget about the episode as
it was "too big," and "we can't protect you in Canada." When the businessman saw David Ferrie's
picture in the paper with a report of the Garrison investigation, he reported the incident anew,
and gave an interview on the exchange to MacLeans magazine. A massive campaign was mounted by the
Justice Department to quash the Garrison investigation. Not only had 17 key witnesses died before
they could take the stand….

If highly connected Canadian families did not have any involvement in Kennedy's assassination,
then it should be simple to prove that Permindex had no CIA ties, and did not field trained
